I tried to get it to play chess for me (against a bot of course) and it was reasonable / opening theory for the first 6 moves, made a mediocre move on move 7, and then descended into gibberish. It also instantly got the first number in an easy sudoku and then promptly gave impossible answers (not just wrong answers). Finally, it's summary of the "Your brain on ChatGPT" abstract (https://www.media.mit.edu/publications/your-brain-on-chatgpt/) was just reading reading a couple sentences from the beginning and end of the abstract.
I can't wait for this to be more useful, and I think it's already helpful computer vision for my screen, but it appears to fail quickly on more difficult tasks or ones that require a memory.
This would be helpful in assisting senior citizens navigate their computers. Someone should write a wrapper that turns this into a consumer facing app.
